Account deletion

How account and data deletion work.

Use this page for the production deletion path, what is removed, what remains on device, and how to request assistance.

Effective date

These instructions are effective April 13, 2026 and describe the current deletion behavior for builds that support optional account sync.

1. Deleting a synced remote account

  1. Open the app and sign in to the account you want to remove.
  2. Open the profile area.
  3. Use the in-app Delete Account action when it is available for your build.
  4. If the in-app action is unavailable or fails, email support from the same email address associated with the account.

2. Deleting local on-device data

  1. Local-only profiles and practice history are stored on the device where they were created.
  2. The current production build does not provide a separate in-app local wipe action for all device-stored history.
  3. To remove local-only data from a device, remove the app and any associated local storage from that device.

3. What is removed and what remains

  1. Deleting a synced remote account removes the authenticated account from the configured backend.
  2. Deleting the remote account does not automatically erase practice history already stored on the current device.
  3. Removing the app from a device removes device-local data on that device, but does not by itself submit a remote account deletion request.
  4. If you need both remote account removal and local device removal, complete both steps.

4. Processing time and fallback support

  1. Successful in-app deletion requests are processed promptly and are expected to complete immediately in the active service path.
  2. Operational logs, backups, or security records may persist for a limited period where reasonably necessary for recovery, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
  3. If you encounter an error, need confirmation, or need manual assistance, contact support.

Local-only builds

If your build does not support remote sync, there is no remote account to delete. In that case, account information and practice history remain device-local unless the app later adds a local reset action.
